The purpose of the Mastering Manhood Conference is to empower males for personal and professional development. We seek to inspire and encourage men to embrace community, responsibility, family, education, and legacy. To challenge and strengthen our men and young men to be better leaders.

I am honored to speak for a second year in a row at this incredible event. This year the committee asked me to speak on Robert Greenleaf’s Servant Leadership. I’m excited to create an interactive activity where each participant will experience sharing his gifts modeling the concept of first among equals. In addition, I know from my personal experience being a leader who comes from serving first, centers me and reminds me I am here to make a positive contribution with many and for us all.

Great News, Being You is the Best Way to Lead
Being authentic is being real. All of our past experiences have prepared us to show up and be of service. Each of us has unique gifts to contribute in the world. When we give up comparing ourselves and learn to honor and embrace all of our light and our shadow, we have access to be a world of leadership where everyone contributes and are valued.
In this session, you will:
- Learn the five ways of being of a servant leader
- Experience a unique activity to clarify who you are when you are being authentic
- Learn that all of you is welcome and how to honor all of you in a healthy way
- Learn the power of self-compassion and grace and to be compassionate with those who lead with you
